Sports injuries are becoming more and more prevalent in the young athlete population and even with those who keep active as they age. If your injury has happened recently or if you have been dealing with these issues for quite some time, there are still steps we can take in order to get you back on the path to recovery.

Athletic Performance Enhancement

Athletic performance starts with a properly functioning spine and nervous system before events. we will do an exam to pinpoint any biomechanical and functional issues that may be keeping you from reaching your full potential. Dr. Paul can assist you or your team by putting together a program that addresses your needs.

Dr. Peters is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physician (DACBSP). He has worked with patients ranging from youth athletics to the professional athlete throughout central Iowa. Most of his work has been as a team physician with the Madrid High School from 1990 to the present. His expertise in the area of sports injuries created the necessity to develop interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Dr. Peters has had extensive post-graduate work, lectured at seminars, and participated on panel discussions in the field of sports injuries. His most recent experience has been at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA, treating the athletes for 2 weeks, working the Hy-Vee Triathlon, and USA Track and Field at Drake.
